£2,000 Grassroots Grant to support our community activities

We are delighted to share some wonderful news: Polish Music Centre has received a £2,000 Grassroots Grant, made possible thanks to players of People’s Postcode Lottery. 💛

This funding comes at an exciting moment for us, as we continue developing activities for children, families and the wider community from our new home at The Stork’s Nest Community Centre in Peterborough.

For us, this grant is about much more than financial support. It gives us another opportunity to create welcoming, affordable and accessible activities where people can meet, learn, be creative and feel part of a community.

Creating opportunities through music, arts and community

Polish Music Centre has always believed that music and creativity can bring people together. As our work continues to grow, so does our ambition to create opportunities that reach beyond traditional music education.

The £2,000 grant will help us support music, arts and community activities, creating more opportunities for people to participate, connect with others and try something new.

Our Polish heritage remains an important part of who we are, but our vision for The Stork’s Nest Community Centre is wider: to create a welcoming community space where people of different ages, backgrounds and cultures can come together.

A small grant with a real local impact

Grassroots funding can make a genuine difference to community organisations like ours. It allows ideas to become activities, helps remove barriers to participation and gives local organisations the confidence to keep developing what their communities need.

We are incredibly grateful for this support and excited to put the funding into action.
