Poland on Stage, Kids in Action - Institute for the Development of the Polish Language
"Poland on Stage, Kids in Action" is a cultural and educational project funded by the Institute for the Development of the Polish Language. The project supports Polish language learning through music, performance and creative activities, while providing children and young people with access to high-quality music education and a permanent home for the Polish Music Centre in Peterborough.
By combining arts, education and cultural experiences, the project helps young people strengthen their connection with the Polish language, heritage and identity while developing confidence, creativity and a lifelong love of music.
Poland on Stage, Kids in Action
Poland on Stage, Kids in Action is an educational and cultural project funded by the Institute for the Development of the Polish Language as part of the programme supporting initiatives that promote the Polish language and culture abroad.
The project was created to inspire children and young people to explore the Polish language through music, creativity and the performing arts. By combining high-quality music education with cultural activities, the project helps young people strengthen their connection with their heritage while developing confidence, creativity and a sense of belonging.
A key part of the project is supporting the long-term development of the Polish Music Centre in Peterborough by providing a permanent space where children, young people and families can learn, rehearse, perform and take part in cultural activities throughout the year.
What We Deliver

Why It Matters
For many children growing up outside Poland, maintaining a connection with their language and cultural heritage can be challenging. Music and the performing arts provide an engaging and inspiring way to learn, express identity and build confidence.
By investing in both people and place, Poland on Stage, Kids in Action is helping create a vibrant centre where Polish language, culture and creativity can flourish. The project ensures that children and young people have opportunities not only to learn music, but also to celebrate their heritage, make lasting friendships and become active members of their community.
We are proud to deliver this project with the support of the Institute for the Development of the Polish Language and to continue creating opportunities for young people to learn, perform and grow together.
