Another year, another successful funding from the Senate Polonia 2026 Programme

We are delighted to share some wonderful news.

We have received funding through the Senat Polonia 2026 programme. We are funded by the Senate of the Republic of Poland and delivered through Fundacja Młode Pokolenia under the title:

“Utrzymanie i rozwój struktury Polskiego Ogniska Muzycznego w Peterborough 2026”

The project has been awarded funding of 74,680 PLN, which will help us continue and strengthen our educational and cultural activities for children and young people.

What will the funding support?

The grant will contribute towards the hire of teaching and rehearsal spaces, enabling us to continue delivering our regular programme of activities throughout 2026, including:

🎵 Melodyjki – early years music and movement sessions for young children

🎤 Polish Music Ensemble – group singing and music-making activities for children and young people

🎭 Musical Theatre Classes – developing confidence, creativity, performance and Polish language skills through singing, acting and movement

The funding will also support the organisation of three student concerts, giving participants the opportunity to showcase their progress, celebrate their achievements and perform in front of family, friends and the wider community.

Investing in the future of Polish-language music education

For over ten years, we are providing children and young people with opportunities to learn, perform and connect with Polish language and culture through music.

This funding recognises the importance of maintaining strong Polish community structures abroad and will help ensure that our educational activities remain accessible and sustainable for the families we serve.

We are incredibly grateful to the Senate of the Republic of Poland and Fundacja Młode Pokolenia for their support and trust in our work.
