We are happy to present new teaching materials that have just appeared in our section DOWNLOADABLE . This is another step towards providing real support to music teachers working with children and youth in the Polish diaspora.
This time we are presenting you with instrumental materials prepared by Ms. Joanna Bernat – an experienced teacher and educator who has been working with students of all ages for years, combining pedagogical professionalism with musical sensitivity. She is also the author of hundreds of songs for children and collaborates with publishing houses such as Aksjomat and PWM.
What will you find in the new materials?
The new package was created with instrument teachers in mind , working in Saturday schools, private centers, and homeschooling settings. Materials:
🎵 they support the student's systematic work on a piece,
🎵 they help develop instrumental technique in an accessible and motivating way,
🎵 they can be used both during lessons and for independent work at home,
🎵 they are adapted to the realities of teachers' work in Polish communities.
These are practical tools that can be flexibly adapted to the student's level and individual pace of learning.
See how students practice 🎥
Below the post, you'll also find several short videos of students practicing selected pieces from the provided materials. It's a great opportunity to:
🎶 see how the material "works in practice", 🎶 get inspired to work with your own students, 🎶 show children and parents that regular practice really brings results.
We believe that such examples are not only methodologically helpful, but also very motivating – both for teachers and for the students themselves.
Download and enjoy
The materials are available free of charge in our DOWNLOADS section . All you need to do is join our center by logging in with your Google or Facebook account, or creating an account with your email address. We encourage you to use them, test them during classes, and share your experiences with us.
This is just the beginning – more publications, packages and materials are ahead, created by teachers for teachers .
Happy music-making! 🎶The Polish Center for Musical Education Team
